Our client is a VC backed, global manufacturing business and is number one in their sector. With a turnover in excess of £1Bn and employing 20,000 people worldwide, they supply technically advanced products to some of the world’s best known brands.
Historically, the company has adopted a regional/localised IT model, however with the recent appointment of a Global CIO, the business is now planning to transition to a global IT model.
Key to the success of this is the appointment of a Head of Global Finance Systems. Reporting directly to the CIO, (who is a member of the Main Board), you will be responsible for defining a set of strategies that will allow the business to migrate to a common set of global Finance systems and processes.
In addition, you will also be responsible for ensuring that a number of controls and procedures are implemented, to allow the smooth operation of the new Finance Systems function.
The ideal candidate will have experience of managing multi-country/regional Finance Systems teams and will have been the relationship owner between IT and key Finance stakeholders (including CFO) within a large and complex geographically dispersed company.
